From The Cottage in Oak Orchard
This is the blog of Barbara and Kenny Sallee, a.k.a. Barbie and Ken. After living on the road for 8 years in our motorhome, we decided in October 2011 to move into a waterfront cottage overlooking the bay of Green Bay in the historical community of Oak Orchard to continue our adventures. In this blog, we will share our adventures as we transition into a new chapter of our lives around the Cottage in Oak Orchard.
We also cruise Lake Michigan and the bay of Green Bay on our vintage yacht, the M/Y Shangri-La. To visit the web site that we have dedicated to our maritime adventures, click onto picture of the M/Y Shangri-La on the right side column.

Happy Darwin Day
Darwin Day is a global celebration of science and reason held on or around Feb. 12, the birthday anniversary of evolutionary biologist Charles Darwin. All's still frozen on this sunny 16 °F / -9 °C morning at the Cottage in Oak Orchard. Brrrr!
